Free Google online Course on Computational Thinking for Educators Worldwide

Google is offering a free online self-spaced course on computational thinking. The goal is to help educators learn about Computational Thinking (CT), how it differs from computer science, and how it can be integrated into a variety of subject areas.

The goal of this course is to help educators learn about computational thinking (CT), how it differs from computer science, and how it can be integrated into a variety of subject areas.

As a course participant, you will increase your awareness of CT, explore examples of CT integrated into your subject areas, experiment with examples of CT-integrated activities for your subject areas, and create a plan to integrate CT into your own curricula.

ELIGIBILITY
  • Opens to educators worldwide
  • A Google account required and basic familiarity and comfort using a web browser is helpful
  • Knowledge of Google’s products or computer science is not required.
Certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the program.
